Mitsubishi key types
Older L200 and Shogun models often use a transponder blade with a separate remote, while many later models have the remote built into the key head. The Outlander, Outlander PHEV and Eclipse Cross often use a keyless smart key with push-button start.
Mitsubishi keys can be harder to source than some other makes, which is one reason a spare is worth having. Send the reg and we'll check what your vehicle uses.
L200 pickups
The L200 is a working pickup for many tradespeople, farmers and contractors. If a key is lost on a job site, the vehicle and its load are stuck. Send the reg and location and we'll come to it.
Many L200s are bought second-hand with only one key. If that's you, a spare now is the simplest way to avoid trouble later.
