Ford key types we see most
Older Fords often use a plain transponder blade or a separate key and remote fob. Many Fiesta, Focus and Transit models from the 2000s and 2010s use the familiar flip key with lock, unlock and boot buttons. Newer Fords, including later Focus, Kuga, Puma and Transit Custom models, often use keyless entry and push-button start with a smart fob.
Each type is different work. A flip key needs the blade cutting and the transponder and remote programming to the vehicle; a smart fob needs programming to the car's keyless system. Tell us which you have – or send a photo – and we'll confirm what's involved.
Vans and trade vehicles
Transit, Transit Custom and Transit Connect vans are the backbone of many local businesses, and a lost van key can mean a lost working day. We come to the van at the yard, the job site or outside your house, so you're back on the road as soon as possible.
If you run several vans, a spare key for each is worth having. It is nearly always cheaper than replacing every key after one goes missing.
What we'll need
Send the registration or make, model and year, your postcode, and whether you still have a working key. We'll check the details for your Ford and give you a price before we set off. We cover most Ford models, but not every model and year – we'll tell you straight away if yours is one we can't do.
Our price guide is spare keys from around £80 and lockouts typically £70–£160, with the final price confirmed before the visit. Open 7 days, late callouts until midnight.
